I have tried this caramel spread recipe, and found it was
exactly like the one sold in groceries....less the plastic
yukky taste :)
CARAMEL SPREAD
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
3 cups sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
3 tbsp corn strach
3 tbsp margerine (or butter)
Melt the margerine or butter. Add ingredients, mix well.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 7-8 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Ta-daa!
When cooled a bit, pour in whatever container you wish.
